Crystals & new stones

We are always getting new stones from our miner and lapidary friends and here’s a few of our favorites:

Tiger’s Iron: You will recognize it’s classic tiger’s eye flash and pattern but enjoy the growth of HEMATITE! This powerful mineral only found in Western Australia can be extremely helpful for those working on Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras. Root and Sacral deal with a lot of who we are and what we desire..allow yourself to meditate on that with this ideal in mind of Tiger’s Iron and let yourself open up to healing.

Larvikite - We got this lovely gem in bracelet form. Its a feldspar, which means it’s part of the moonstone and labradorite family. You can see this in it’s underlying flashy tones of blue. Hailing. from Norway, Larvikite is a grounding and centering stone. If you’ve had a wild day, week or for some of us..the past year, wearing or just being around Larvikite can help you chill and recharge.

Tekites - the closest thing you can get to a UFO or alien object! These adorable meteor-like crystals are formed when terrestrial material impacts earth.

Make your own floral waters

What you’ll need: 2+ oz Fresh flowers like Lavender, Chamomile, Calendula, etc.

  • Large Sauce pan or pot (with lid)

  • Decanter or other container to store your water in long term

  • Mister bottles for application

Instructions: For ever 1-2 oz of fresh flowers, measure out 8 oz water. Pour into pot.

Rinse flowers gentle under water and remove dirt/excess stems. You can do this at your discretion but for the strongest floral scents you’ll want to focus on just the buds and flowers. Set flowers aside

Bring water in pot to boil then back to simmer. Once simmering, toss in your flowers, give a quick stir and place the lid on top. Bring your temp down a bit but keep water gently simmering for 20 minutes. The lid keeps your steam and oils in and allows them to drip back into the water. After 20 minutes, turn off heat and allow to cool before opening. Let the steam settle back into liquid to be gathered and used.

Lift lid, allow condensation to pour off. Strain into decanter and allow to continue to cool in either the fridge or countertop out of sunlight. For use on face, pour into mister bottle to be easily applied. You can also use a cotton ball or soak a whole hand towel for a hot day.

Storage: Pour into bottle for fridge or misters for immediate use. No direct sunlight preferably in a dark colored container. Use as misters for skin, rooms and other places!
